Quality British Labs

A Family Owned Kennel since 1995
We first fell in love with the British Labrador breed back in 1995. Since then, every dog we've raised or trained has felt like a part of our family.
Each dog at Caney Creek Kennel is fully trained to hunt and gets to put their skills to use during the annual duck hunting season. When not hunting, our dogs are the perfect loyal and attentive life-long companion.
Let us show you why we love British Labradors, and your family will fall in love, too.

Physical Characteristics
British Labradors are smaller in size compared to their American counterparts. Males range from 50 to 75 pounds, and females can be around 45 to 60 pounds. Common coat colors include black, yellow, and live/chocolate.
Temperament
British Labs are very intelligent and eager to please. Their calm and relaxed demeanor means they are easy to train. Due to their lack of aggression or undue shyness, they are also excellent family pets.
Hunting Ability
Don't let their calm demeanor fool you! British Labs come alive when placed in a hunting environment. They have an incredible drive to hunt which has been bred into them for generations. Their incredible scenting ability makes them much more capable of picking up and tracking scents compared to similar breeds.
